Whats wrong with this?

Everyone says "playoff won't work because they make to much money". Why the hell can't we keep all 64 whatever teams... all the bowls but simply make a 16 team playoff and use the largest bowls (orange bowl, surgar, ect) as the final 4 games and the "extra bcs game" as the final? You can have the cotton bowl has one of the opening playoff games and still switch the bowls around every year. Everyone keeps their meaningless .com bowls.... their cotton bowls... their orange bowls.. their money... and we get a playoff... is it that hard?????
