Vick hatred race related?

I don't understand why PETA gets a free p to tear Vick apart. If a group of rich white people got together and ripped a drug dealer, child molester, or killer, they would be crucified by the media. Yet because it's PETA doing it, it's just fine. Get to work Al Sharpton! Those nappy headed ho's don't need your help no more, but Vick sure could.
