When visiting Brazil, I was a guest of a devout Catholic family, but?

the women were practically naked all the time - the tiniest of bikinis, the skimpiest of dresses, skirts and tops, braless (and beautiful)- the young daughters, the teen daughters, the mom... on the beach and around the home, at the restaurant and around town at night. How come American Christian women find this so offensive, and they found it normal?
